OUR STORY

After searching nearly my entire adult life, my wife and I discovered 20 acres of paradise near Trout Creek, MT. The property is surrounded by the Kootenai National Forest and totally off the grid.  Today, Mary and I make our home next door to this lovely cabin and live a modern homesteading lifestyle. So if you've ever wondered about off-grid living, come and see what life without grid power, cell phones and live TV is like.  We think you might enjoy it!

Our cabin sits on the bank of Whitepine Creek as the last residence before pure national forest and provides access to a huge variety of wilderness adventures.  Wildlife abounds in the area including deer, elk, moose, wolf, bear, turkey, grouse, eagles, and mountain lion. If you enjoy the outdoors and want a quiet, remote northwest Montana adventure, welcome to our cabin.

Clay Anselmo - Owner

"The cabin had all the necessities for a mountain cabin, with plenty of space to stretch out... No matter what you're in the Trout Creek area for, this cabin would be a perfect spot to stay. Thank you for the awesome cabin!"

"You have such a lovely cabin and we enjoyed the little things such as the cozy blankets, washer and dryer, and especially the gift basket."

"The property is beautiful, the cabin is perfect and offers plenty of privacy. We enjoyed sitting on the porch watching the stars and listening to the silence of the beautiful valley...

Thank you so much! We will be back."
